This print features an original late 19th century absinthe label from the distillery of Chorot Freres located in Moirans, a tiny town situated in southwest France. The area was once well-known for its wine vineyards.
Silver metallic ink was used on the wormwood branches and leaves, just as the original label. Metallic inks create a shiny, rich finish and an authentic look. The photo above does not feature the metallic ink.
