Chorot Freres Absinthe Distillery Label Print, 8.5" x 11"
- Description
- DETAILS
This print is a reproduction of an original late 19th-century absinthe label. It was printed using a four-color offset printing press, meaning each color was applied separately. This printing method would have been the same as the one used to produce the original labels. The colors and images are sharp and vibrant. Silver metallic ink was used in the printing process on the wormwood branches and leaves, adding to the authentic look and feel of the print. Using metallic inks creates a shiny, rich finish and an authentic look. The photo above does not feature the metallic ink.
The black frame and line bordering the image to the left are used only as a reference for what the poster would look like, framed and matted.
