Italian Carrara Marble French Bistro Table, 36" Diameter
- Description
- DETAILS
This 36" diameter Italian Carrara Marble Bistro table is patterned after an original antique French bistro table. The size is ideal for a setting of four. Bistro tables like this were originally popular during Paris' Belle Époque. After 150 years, tables like this one continue to be used in daily Parisienne cafés and restaurants.
Their solid marble top and cast iron base are constructed to the same standards as the originals, including the hoop, which encircles the marble for protection and features an antiqued, seamless brass band. The powder-coated base features the same detail, also taken from an early 20th-century French bistro table. All construction has been faithfully reproduced, including how the marble is fixed to the table. Heavy-duty steel bars are used under the table top to hold the marble to the base.
The tables can be used indoors or outdoors. If left outside, they are best kept under an overhang.
