Deniset Jeune Absinthe Distillery Label Print, 11" x 8.5"

This print is of a late 19th-century absinthe label print from the distillery of H. Deniset Jeune located in Pontarlier, the birthplace of absinthe in France. It was printed using a 4 color offset printing press, meaning each color is applied separately. This printing method would have been the same as the one used to produce the original labels. The colors in the image are sharp and vibrant. Silver metallic ink was used in the printing process on the wormwood branches and leaves, adding to the authentic look and feel of the print. Using metallic inks creates a shiny, rich finish and an authentic look. The photo above does not feature the metallic ink.
